History
Our ancestral home is in Sam Neua, in the remote Northern Province of Houaphan where a unique and rare style of weaving was born and developed. The Sam Neua weavers are renowned throughout the country for their high quality weaving, and our mother is no exception.  Both my sister and I began to weave at a very early age under the expert guidance of our mother.  Since that time we have gained considerable experience that we impart on apprentise weavers, who hopefully will become the master Lao textile artists of tomorrow.
